MUSIC MINISTRY

We need each other's voice to sing, each other's strength to love, each other's views to help us bring our hearts to God above. Our lives like coals placed side by side to feed each other's flame, shall with the Spirit's breath provide a blaze of faith to claim. We give our alleluias to the church's common chord: Alleluia! Pro-Cathedral Senior Choir

Thinking about joining the Senior Choir?

Yes! "All are welcome"... Don't be shy, the choir always welcomes new members. If you love to sing and can carry a tune then come out and give it a try. No experience required. It is an excellent way to worship through song and get involved in your parish community. It is an opportunity to meet new friends and have some fun too! Practices are on Thursdays from 6:30 - 8:30 pm in the Cathedral. Looking for new members after Easter 2006. Please contact Jane at the music office for more details - 472-2032.

Pro-Cathedral Children's Choir

Attention Children - Love to sing? Come and join the Children's Choir!

  • You will sing some fun songs
  • You will make new friends
  • You will laugh and share with others
  • 15 Minute Practices (if required): immediately following the 9:00 am Sunday mass in the choir loft.

Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday at 8:30 am in the Parish Hall for a quick warm-up!! Please contact Jane at the music office for more details - 472-2032.

We currenly have three organists on staff.

  • Christine Saini, Funeral Liturgies Organist

If you are interested in this aspect of the Music Ministry, please contact the music office for more details - 472-2032. Please note that Grade 8 piano is required. Training on the Pipe Organ would be provided.
