We invite you and your child to participate in our parish preparation for one of the Sacraments of Initiation - Confirmation. Your child was probably baptized as a baby. He or she is growing up in the faith and is now ready to be strengthened with the Holy Spirit in the Sacrament of Confirmation.

By signing us with the gift of the Spirit, Confirmation makes us more completely the image of the Lord, and fills us with the Holy Spirit so that we may bear witness to him before all the world and work to bring the Body of Christ to its fullness as soon as possible.

This year, the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation will be held on Pentecost Sunday, the weekend of May 10 & 11, 2008.

It's never too early to register your child. The Confirmation Team is preparing an agenda with a variety of experiences to prepare your child for this sacrament. Confirmation activities will be posted as soon as plans are finalized.

In order to facilitate registration, you may pick up a form at the back of the church or complete the online registration form and drop it into the collection basket or return it to the parish office.

** Please Note: If your child was not baptized at the Pro-Cathedral we require a photocopy of his/her baptismal certificate. Provide a copy even if your child celebrated another sacrament before - we do not keep copies on file.
